Exploring the dialogue between organic shapes in garment design, the art of draping, and their interplay with spatial environments. This series examines how fashion transcends in the age of scepticism due to the advancement of technology. This project emphasises on embracing fashion into sculptural and performative art that interacts dynamically with space, light, and movement.

The catalogue invites visitors to engage with garments not only as wearable pieces or a pleasing photograph but as an extensions of nature and architecture (as in structure) to rethink the way we can exhibit them.

THIS IS AN EXHIBITION THAT DOESN’T EXIST...

“SUB.liminal” offers an exploration of how organic shapes in garments and draping transform the relationship between fashion and space.

By challenging conventional displays, the exhibition celebrates the convergence of art, nature, and technology, inviting visitors into a world where garments become living sculptures and spaces breathe life into design but at the same time they are out of touch. You get to experience them through images and not a physical material.

As if you are not sure if they actually exist.
