CAPTURED WORKIN COLLABRATION WITH ALEKSANDRA EREMASHVILI“SACRED BODIES” EDITORIAL
“Sanctuary” is born — a refuge for those who revel in the paradoxes of
existence, where the eccentric and the sublime intertwine in a dance that defies the logic of the mundane.
My journey into the rabbit hole of Absurdism began with a question: What if the meaning of life is not some grand narrative, neatly packaged and delivered to us on a silver platter? What if, instead, it’s an exquisite tapestry woven from the threads of the ridiculous and the profound, the tragic and the comic? In my pursuit of answers, I stumbled upon the philosophical musings of the Absurdists—the thinkers, like Albert Camus, who challenge the question of the meaning of
human existence.
As you flip through the pages of “Sanctuary,” you’ll find that our lens is tinted with the absurd. Fashion becomes a whimsical parade of contradictions, where the avant-garde meets the everyday, and the outrageous is celebrated as the epitome of style. Cinema transforms into a surreal dreamscape, where narratives
unfold like riddles, leaving us both perplexed and enchanted. Camus’ philosophy, in its myriad forms, invites us to dance with the absurd, to revel in the beauty of chaos and to find meaning in the seemingly meaningless.
